Oh my god! Last night my boyfriend, my sister, my brother in law, and me all went to eat at The Melting Pot. Its a fondue restaurant in Delmar on the Loop. They cook everything up right at your table in the fondue pot,and you just dip it and eat it. It was my first time ever going and it was amazing! For those of you who haven't gone here's a little about it: Your food comes out in courses the 1st course is the cheese fondue. You pick between 6 different cheeses ranging from: jalapeno cheese, swiss cheese, wisconsin trio. We got the the Wisconsin trio which was three different cheeses, white wine, scallions, and some other stuff. They give veggies, white/rye bread, and apples to dip in the cheese. I loved it, even the apples and cheese was good. The second course you pick between different meats/poultry. They have like eight different combinations to pick from, but you can get steak, lobster, duck, chicken, sausage, fillet minion, and shrimp. With this course they also bring out veggies, dips and sauces. Then they bring you out your choice of broth and you just cook your own meats, poultry, and veggie, right there! Then the last course and my favorite course was the dessert! There's about eight different chocolate fondues to pick from. They have white chocolate, dark chocolate, smores, ying yang(white chocolate and milk chocolate mix). With this they bring you cheesecake, rice krispies, bananas, strawberries, pound cake, and brownies. It was the best dessert I've had! Seriously! I told my boyfriend that next time we go all we need to get is the cheese fondue and the dessert! I will definitely be going back!Soon! Its a little bit pricey(your going to at least spend $100) but your paying for the experience, and its well worth it!

Are you kidding me!
I was on my way home from work this morning and on the radio they were talking about how teens are being influenced by vampire movies, television shows, and books! These crazy kids are actually biting each other! What is wrong with our youth? We're talking about teenagers here, a teen should have enough common sense not to bite someone, or let someone bite them. My two year old niece even knows better!
Not only that, but they should be aware(at this age) that there are diseases that are spread through blood. The mouth carries a billion different germs, so your bite could turn into a disgusting, infected bite! Their even biting their friends to prove their ownership? or connection? Which is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard! To be completely honest if these kids aren't smart enough to realize that this is not normal, maybe they shouldn't be watching these movies and television shows. There was a 16 year old boy interviewed and he said he's been biting his girlfriend on and off for a year now. Are you kidding me?

New Living room!
We decided to redecorate the living room. We needed new furniture anyways, and we decided to paint too! The sectional we had was falling apart and it left absolutely no space in the living room. We found a leather reclining sofa and chair for under $900 at Weekends-Only, and bought it that day. The next day I went and bought some paint and finshed that within two days. My boyfriend Chris and his friend John moved the furniture in several days later, and I LOVE IT! We recently did the bathroom and kitchen too, and this house has never looked better. The room still needed a rug and a painting though, I looked and looked, but never found anything. Then 2 days ago found the perfect painting at Kohl's. It matches better than anything I was looking at before, and it was only $30! I finally got a bookshelf in the living room too, and moved all my boyfriends records and his zenith to one of the spare rooms! I didn't mind having them in the living room, but they were in milk crates which 1) looks tacky and 2) it sucked cleaning around them! We're still not completely done, but its getting there! Now were on to fixing up the bedroom too! We just got a new bed in there and this weekend we're going to paint! I'm ready for another project!
Need to get some longer curtains too!

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
This movie is by far one of my favorites! I'm sure there's a lot of people that have seen it, but I'm sure there's a lot who haven't. The premise of the movie is that there is a doctor who does a procedure that erases memories, usually painful(break-ups)or disturbing ones. I can't really go into detail without ruining it. Its a different take on a love story, and that's why I love it. I would classify it as an Indie film, definitely a film with cult following.
So, if given the chance, would you erase someone from your memory? While this procedure doesn't against, if it did, I wouldn't do it. I believe that past relationships help you learn and grow. Sometimes you wouldn't be at the place you are if you hadn't experienced what you did, be it good or bad. I'd never want to forget everything about that person, because at one time you did love and care for each other and that's all that should matter. People move on, things happen for a reason. By the way, the soundtrack for this movie is awesome!
